Addiction can be simply defined as the tendency to be used to a certain habit or character which is harmful to one and difficult to leave, you may have been troubled and stressed doing all you can to leave a certain habit of which you do not like, but unconsciously, you find yourself in it. Are you a Lesbian, Homosexual, Drug addict, a Drunk, a Womanizer, or do you struggle with a certain habit? An end has come to all these.

Friend, no matter what your condition may be all you need to know that all things are possible. Firstly, your involvement in the particular habit of yours may be due to one reason or the other, but most importantly your involvement in it by your decision, either consciously or unconsciously. THE POWER TO LEAVE ADDICTION
Dear, the power to leave this habit lies in you, you may wonder how? God has deposited in you the ability and the powers to become anything you want to become at creation. Man was created a power being, in other words, you are created to make decision and choices of which may be positive or negative. You are into this addiction negative decision unconsciously or consciously. The power behind this act lies in your decisions Gen. 1:26 says” And God said let us make man in our own image after our likeness and let them have dominion……..” Man was originally made with ability to dominate and control situation and circumstances. The seed of dominion as been deposited in every man. friend! How to control your world lies in you. You can become what you want to be, and effect any change you want to effect in your life. Do not say it is impossible when you say it is impossible, you have made things impossible for yourself. As you can see, you are made in the image and the likeness of God. So, the ability to create things lies in you as in God. What God can do you can also do, that is only if you believe. When you say I cant you have incapacitate yourself of the very thing you say you can’t. The power to stop addiction of any kind lies in you. Eph 3;20 says “ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the powers that works in us.” This scripture makes understand that the power in you can do exceeding abundantly. When you say I will or I can you unleashed creative force into motion to get thing accomplished. You are a power being one of the key that necessitates your complete victory over life’s challenges is understand the power in the spoken words. As you have known that you are made in the image and the likeness of God, it’s also important to know God never does anything without speaking a word Gen 1:3 says “ And God said let there be light and there was light……” Understand this, before God never said anything it would have been conceived in the thought region before anything would be altered, it must have spoken in the mind. It is also important to know your target makes your destiny. Nothing would never surfaced in you’re your life until it is thought. Before any habit is imbibed it would have been thought in the mind. Friend, sow a thought, reap a character, sow a character rep a habit, sow a habit reap a destiny. Prov. 23:7 says “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he….” Having understood that your thought controls you and its frames up your future, you need to know how to think right. How do you control your thinking? This is simple, thought are fragments of what is obtainable in the environment. What you see, hear, smell or feel controls your thinking and gets addicted to you. Your involvement in any addiction is simply by environmental. influence. The same process you get involved into addictions simply the same process you get rid of it. As you know there is no positive thing that will be affected without a pain, no pain no gain. To get rid of the particular habit of which you have been addicted to may require change of environment, I mean what you see, hear, smell, and feel. What you see in the television or the screen of your computer, and your surroundings, what you hear in the radio or your sound system and around you, what you smell and feel to be changed to things that will give you a positive influence. It may require changing of friends or a certain job. You can also sit down and think on those things that have influenced you wrong, by your own decision ready to do away with them, not minding what will cost you. What doest not cost you can not make you. Everyday declare positive words about yourself, say what you want and what you want to become. Never open your mouth to declare negative things about yourself, because what you say is what you are, keep you confession right everyday and you will completely be freed from all addictions.
